Are you a detail-oriented professional looking for an exciting opportunity to expand your accounting knowledge in Round Rock, Texas? We are seeking an Accounting Assistant for a temp-to-hire position to start immediately. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys performing a variety of administrative tasks, but who is also looking to learn and grow within accounting. Your exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and desire to grow will be key to your success in this position.
Required Qualifications :
Detail-oriented with accurate data entry skills and excellent time management and organizational abilities.
One or two years of experience supporting an accounting department.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and / or other accounting software is a plus but not required.
Ability to be a forward thinker and problem solver using sound judgment.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
Dependable and punctual.
Strong computer skills, including excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
Ability to understand business terminology and data usage.
Self-starter who can work cooperatively with others in a small-company environment.
Ability to provide excellent, consistent customer service for both internal and external customers.
Duties :
Perform general bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, monitoring accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Assist with human resources administrative functions as needed.
Carry out clerical duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents, including office correspondence and presentations.
Processing and routing mail, coordinating and maintaining calendars and appointments, ordering and receiving support, and maintaining office supplies.
Pay Details : $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
