Responsibilities include:
- Entering financial data with precision
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Reconciling bank statements and other accounts
- Preparing financial reports and statements
- Organizing and maintaining financial records and files
- Creating invoices and handling payment processing
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closings
- Responding to financial inquiries from stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
- Assisting with various administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree in Accounting is preferred
- Previous experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a comparable position
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
