We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Specialist to join a team. This role will be responsible for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities :
Process and manage Accounts Payable , including invoice verification, coding, and timely vendor payments.
Handle Accounts Receivable , including invoicing, collections, and payment application.
Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and vendor / customer accounts to ensure accuracy.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and assist with month-end and year-end closings.
Prepare reports related to AP / AR, cash flow, and aging reports as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors / customers to resolve discrepancies.
Assist in the development and improvement of financial processes and controls.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Perform other accounting-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable .
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and customer interactions.
Understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
Pay Details : $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year
