Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH has partnered with a commercial manufacturing company on a direct hire AP Specialist role in Georgetown, TX. To be considered for the role you must have a minimum of five years full cycle AP processing experience including handling month end AP duties and understanding GL reconciliations. In this role you are responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements and transactions. You will also play a key role in leading the AP team. This Accounts Payable Specialist role pays $65-$70k and offers full benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Verifies the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records

• Utilize three way matching to process invoices

• Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers

• Performs vendor data analysis to identify discrepancies

• Recommends actions to resolve the discrepancies

• Reviews invoices for appropriate support documentation and approval prior to payment

• Answers vendor inquiries

• Assist with month end closing

Requirements:

• Five years of proven full cycle AP experience

• Above average verbal and written communication skills

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Capable of managing high volume workload with control, accuracy, and efficiency

• Experience working with ERP systems and intermediate Excel

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
