Job Description: Accounts Receivable Specialist (Temporary)Location: Burlington, NJ
Salary: $20-$25/hr.
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and follow up on overdue payments.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Process and record incoming payments accurately.
- Prepare and present regular reports on the status of accounts receivable.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and disputes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
