Administrative Assistant job in Carlsbad, CA
LHH has partnered with a growing Insurance company that is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their team! In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the department.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform a variety of administrative duties, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
Prepare and edit reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of organized filing systems, both electronic and physical.
Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and correspondence.
Support the Directors in various projects and tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are managed effectively.
Coordinate and organize departmental events and meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
Familiarity with CRM systems and other office software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of professionalism and discretion.
Additional Details :
Location : Carlsbad, CA
Pay : $26-$31 / hour
Schedule : Monday-Friday, fully onsite
Hours : 40 hours per week, standard office hours
Duration : Contract for 6 months with a possibility to be brought on permanantly based on performance and business need.
