Overview : LHH is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insurance Defense Attorney focused on Personal Injury matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and experience in handling personal injury cases and insurance defense litigation. This role requires excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of insurance law and civil litigation procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of personal injury and insurance defense cases from inception to resolution, including client consultations, case investigation, legal research, and drafting of pleadings.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and depositions. Develop and present legal arguments, examine and cross-examine witnesses, and negotiate settlements when appropriate.
- Conduct thorough discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admissions. Depose witnesses and experts, and prepare clients for depositions and trial testimony.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress, answering their questions, and addressing their concerns. Provide strategic legal advice to clients and insurance companies.
- Perform comprehensive legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and settlement agreements. Prepare detailed case analyses and reports for clients and insurance carriers.
- Participate in mediation and settlement negotiations, advocating for the best interests of clients and insurance carriers. Seek favorable outcomes through alternative dispute resolution methods.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the practice of law. Stay current with changes in personal injury and insurance defense law.
- Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective handling of cases. Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys and staff as needed.

Pay Details : $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
