Job Title : Benefits Specialist (3-Month Contract)

Location : Seattle, WA

Job Type : Contract (3 months)

LHH is looking for candidates with experience in Employee Benefits. We are looking for a dedicated Benefits Specialist to join our client's team on a short-term contract basis to support our HR department. This role is hybrid in Seattle, WA and contract only.

Responsibilities :

  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits.
  • Conduct benefits orientations and provide ongoing education to employees about their benefits options.
  • Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate benefits deductions and contributions.
  • Assist in the resolution of benefits-related issues and escalate complex cases as needed.
  • Support the annual benefits renewal process and open enrollment activities.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in employee benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certification in Benefits Administration (e.g., CEBS, CBP).
  • Experience with benefits administration in a multi-state environment.
  • Pay Details : $28.84 to $32.69 per hour
