Title: Bookkeeper Trainee
Position Summary: LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Bookkeeper Trainee that will assist our client with COBRA administration, contribution report reconciliation, and customer service for assigned Trusts. The role involves managing fund billings to vendors, assisting in transfers of funds, filing of fund documents, reconciling bank accounts, and maintaining claims checking account balances. The candidate will also have access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) as necessary.
Location: Earth City, MO 63045
Compensation: $22.02 per hour

Industry Standard Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
COBRA Administration: Support in the management of COBRA administration tasks.
Fund Billings: Handle payment of fund billings to vendors.
Funds Transfer Assistance: Aid in the origination of fund transfers, deposits to claims, pension payments, investment, custody, and advising cash positions as needed.
Document Filing: Organize and file fund documents, ensuring easy retrieval.
Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
Claims Checking: Maintain the claims checking account balance.
Postage Charge Back: Calculate and manage each fund's postage charge back.
Miscellaneous Duties: Perform other assigned tasks to support the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Detail and quality oriented.
Two years of general office experience.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and concurrent deadlines.
Familiarity with automated accounting systems (preferred but not required).
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
