Job Title : Buyer
Location : Hybrid based in Vancouver, WA (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Contract Duration : 2-4 months
Pay Rate : $30-$35 per hour
Job Description :
LHH Recruitment is seeking a motivated and experienced Buyer to join our client's team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing and procurement, with at least 2 years of relevant experience. This role requires working onsite in Vancouver, WA, and our client is hoping to identify and get someone started right away.
Key Responsibilities :
Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for manufacturing operations.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Maintain and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to meet demand.
Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the agriculture or manufacturing industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in using procurement software and tool such as ERP or SAP.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Pay Details : $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
