Buyer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our client’s growing team. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services necessary for our business operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring we acquire quality products at competitive prices, while maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity located near Addison IL.

Responsibilities :

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and service.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers.
• Issue purchase orders and track their progress, ensuring timely delivery.
• Manage inventory levels and forecast future needs.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing requirements.
• Analyze market trends and identify potential cost savings opportunities.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize purchasing processes.
• Research and evaluate new products and technologies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and other related issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to purchasing and supply chain management.

Pay Details : $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
