Remote – Ethics, Compliance MA Attorney – Data Privacy / Health Law
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Ethics, Compliance MA – Data Privacy / Health Law Attorney for a 6 month temporary position. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in privacy law, ethics / compliance, health law, and other data protection regulations. The role will primarily support the legal department in managing privacy and data security issues, drafting and reviewing policies, contracts, and handling risk assessments. This role is set to last for at least 6 months.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and conduct ethics & compliance due diligence for global acquisitions and investments, focusing on areas such as data protection, anti-corruption, FCPA compliance, marketing practices, government contracting, and healthcare industry regulations
- Prepare written assessments of due diligence findings, including risk-ranked observations and proposed remediation plans (both pre- and post-close)
- Participate in regular internal and external meetings to discuss deal progress and due diligence findings
- Oversee and manage engagement with third parties (e.g., law firms, consultants, auditors), including drafting engagement letters, budgeting, and ensuring timely deliverables
- Facilitate the implementation of pre- and post-closing actions to address identified issues and track remediation post-close
- Prepare reports and presentations for various audiences, including executive management, to communicate findings and progress
- Review transactional agreements to advise on compliance-related contract provisions such as indemnification, representations, warranties, and closing conditions
- Notify internal teams of closed deals to support post-close implementation efforts
- Analyze new regulatory and legal compliance requirements and assess their impact on ongoing and upcoming M&A deals

Pay Details : $70.00 to $85.00 per hour
