Job Title : Expert Consultant – Physical Security & Emergency Response
Location : West Menlo Park, CA (Hybrid-Contract Position)

Job Description :
We are seeking an expert consultant to provide specialized consultation to an internal audit team on risks related to site physical security and emergency response. As a key contributor, you will leverage your extensive industry experience to support critical audit activities and ensure comprehensive security and risk management practices are in place.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide expert consultation on risks related to physical security and emergency response protocols.
Assist in drafting the scoping document and planning memo for audits; help design audit test steps.
Support internal audits by conducting walkthroughs and interviews with key process owners to assess how vulnerabilities are identified, prioritized, tracked, remediated, and reported.
Analyze and review existing documentation, such as policies, standards, and procedures related to physical site security.
Offer industry expertise to guide the internal audit team in identifying areas of improvement in site security and emergency response.
Required Qualifications :
Minimum of 15 years of experience in law enforcement or corporate security (can be combined).
Proven expertise in physical security and emergency response planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High ethical standards and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with active shooter protocol or other critical emergency response planning.
Prior experience in consulting for private or public entities.
Experience with security planning for large-scale events.
Pay Range :
150 - $180 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Pay Details : $150.00 to $180.00 per hour
