LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Customer Service Pharmacy Technician for a confidential client. This role involves processing patient medication orders accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist. This is a contract-to-hire role in Louisville, KY.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify prescription details.
Enter new and refill prescription orders.
Address customer needs and ensure HIPAA compliance.
Maintain patient profiles and medication records.
File prescriptions based on refill eligibility.
Follow HIPAA and PSEUDOEPHEDRINE law guidelines.
Prepare and submit claims for reimbursement.
Resolve prescription order issues.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of pharmacy technician experience.
One year of customer service experience.
Registered and licensed pharmacy technician by the Kentucky/Indiana Board of Pharmacy.
Advanced knowledge of medical terminology.
Proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
National certification through the PTCB or another certifying agency.
Knowledge of insurance procedures.
Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
