Key Responsibilities
Verify prescription details for accuracy before processing.
Assist customers with prescription inquiries while following HIPAA guidelines.
Maintain patient profiles and prescription logs.
Submit and resolve insurance claims.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Registered Pharmacy Technician in Kentucky, in good standing or willingness to renew registration.
At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, including prescription entry and customer service.
Familiarity with medical terminology, medication names (brand and generic), and pharmacy procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Pharmacy technician training program completion.
National pharmacy technician certification (e.g., PTCB).
Knowledge of insurance claim processes.
Spanish proficiency is a plus.
Pay Details : $19.00 per hour
