LHH is seeking a Director of Manufacturing who will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategy, and execution of the manufacturing process. This includes overseeing end-to-end operations, ensuring production runs are completed on time and within budget, optimizing production efficiency, maintaining high-quality standards, and managing a diverse team. The Director will play a key role in shaping manufacturing strategies, implementing process improvements, and driving operational excellence. They will also maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Essential Functions :
- Develop and execute long-term manufacturing strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Guide the development and documentation of workflows and production processes to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Direct and optimize production schedules, ensuring that milestones, deliverables, and budget constraints are met.
- Drive continuous improvement in production processes, focusing on quality, efficiency, and cost control.
- Lead and mentor a team of Production Managers, Supervisors, and staff to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor and enforce performance expectations, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Monitor production operations to ensure adherence to quality and accuracy standards.
- Introduce process improvements, implementing best practices, and industry standards for optimal performance.
- Work closely with key departments such as Procurement, Estimating, Project Management, Sales, and Customer Experience to ensure alignment and optimize production processes.
- Communicate and provide insights to senior leadership on performance and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and lead the implementation of quality control measures across the production process.
- Monitor and assist in evolution of KPIs, including but not limited to run rates, downtime, and production efficiency.
- Ensure all safety regulations and safety protocols are consistently followed to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Maintain budgets, track costs, and develop strategies for cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high production standards and adhering to approved budgets and deadlines.
- Ensure effective resource allocation and cost control across the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturing technologies.
- Lead the evaluation and integration of new equipment that improve production capabilities.
- Champion the training and professional development of production employees, ensuring continuous skills advancement is available and alignment with industry trends.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications :
Supervisory Responsibilities : Oversees all production and manufacturing employees across multiple teams.
Work Environment : Indoor, temperature controlled, production facility.
Physical Demands :
Security Clearance : As a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.

Pay Details : $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
