LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a qualified Quantitative Analyst to join a Tier-One bank’s finance team for a long-term contract position. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with SQL, excel, data management and conducting trend analysis. Please continue reading and apply if interested.
Overview : Join our Tier One Bank Client as a Quantitative Analyst on the Quantitative Finance Spot Position team. This team manages data for Balance Sheet Management’s (BSM) Net Interest Income (NII) and Interest Rate Risk (IRR) forecasts.
Responsibilities :
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data for processes.
Research and resolve data sourcing and transformation issues.
Serve as a subject matter expert on data mapping, translation, aggregation, and filtering.
Requirements :
Proficiency in database querying tools (e.g., Toad for Oracle, Toad Data Point, SQL Server).
Comfortable with functions like COUNTS, SUMS, JOINS, Case statements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including COUNT, SUM, VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, and trend analysis.
Understanding of ETL processes and Software Development Lifecycle.
Experience in data process management, validation, reconciliation, and trend analysis.
Proven track record of process improvements and managing multiple projects.
Preferred Skills :
Experience with Software Development Lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Background in Banking / Capital markets or technology project management.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred.
Worksite Type : Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
Pay : $60-65 / hr
Pay Details : $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
