Technical & Regulatory Service Administrator – Food Manufacturing
On-Site : Fullerton
About the Role :
A leading food manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Technical & Regulatory Service Admin to lead a team of four scientists, providing expertise in technical problem-solving, regulatory compliance, and food manufacturing performance. This role will serve as a key technical liaison between the company and its customers, ensuring product quality, compliance, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Leadership : Provide problem-solving support on technical and quality matters related to food manufacturing performance.
Customer Interface : Manage the overall technical relationship with customers, supporting both current products and new product development.
Strategic Collaboration : Partner with Sales, R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing to develop strategies for existing and potential customers.
Regulatory Compliance :
Provide technical regulatory advice and support strategic projects.
Oversee the preparation, issuance, and maintenance of ingredient statements and nutrition fact labels in compliance with USDA, FDA, and corporate policies.
Review and approve finished product graphics for regulatory accuracy.
Evaluate claims for accuracy and develop claim justifications.
Product Development & Compliance :
Assist in onboarding new products by collecting and evaluating ingredient data.
Develop thermal processing / preservation specifications and troubleshoot processing deviations.
Review and submit process filings to regulatory authorities.
Quality & Certification Oversight :
Ensure compliance with third-party certifications such as SQF, Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, and Kosher.
Support quality team in troubleshooting activities as needed.
Customer & Consumer Support :
Respond to consumer inquiries and customer specification requests.
Propose and implement strategic plans to efficiently adapt to regulatory changes.
Qualifications :
Must have experience with Genesis software.
Strong background in labeling and regulatory compliance (critical requirement).
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
Proven experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance.
Strong knowledge of USDA and FDA regulations.
Experience leading technical teams and collaborating cross-functionally.
Pay Details : $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
