What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housing Coordinator position at LHH Recruitment Solutions?
As part of our dedicated Housing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of interim housing guests, helping them achieve their goals and navigate their journey toward stability.
What You'll Do :
- You'll be the go-to person for ensuring guests' basic needs are met, offering support to both the guests and case managers, and helping individuals achieve their personal goals.
- Create an inclusive, hospitable environment by monitoring living areas, keeping them clean and organized, and making sure guests feel at home during their stay.
- Collaborate with case managers and the operations team to keep our facility running smoothly and ensure the safety and comfort of all residents.
- Provide compassionate crisis intervention, helping guests navigate challenges and develop skills to manage their care independently.
- Complete progress notes after every guest interaction and provide facility tours for new arrivals, ensuring they're comfortable and informed.
- 1 year of experience working in a homeless shelter or similar. Volunteer experience is welcomed!
- Must be able to work one day of the weekend (Saturday or Sunday)
- Multiple Shifts Available : Swing (2pm-1030pm), overnight (10pm-630am)

Pay Details : $18.00 to $21.70 per hour
