IAM System Engineer (SailPoint) – Fully Remote Contract
Must reside in AL, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MD, MN, MO, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TX, VA, or WV
LHH is proud to partner with our client in seeking an IAM System Engineer for a fully remote contract opportunity . This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) Engineer to contribute to enterprise-level security initiatives in a banking and financial services environment .
Position Overview
As an IAM System Engineer , you will play a critical role in developing automation, integrating applications, designing workflows, and implementing IAM processes within the SailPoint IdentityIQ solution . You will work closely with IT and business partners to improve identity lifecycle processes, define role-based access control (RBAC), and enhance security posture in alignment with best practices and banking industry regulations .
Key Responsibilities
Lead SailPoint IdentityIQ application onboarding, automation, and optimization .
Gather and analyze business and security requirements to enhance IAM workflows.
Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and identity governance (IGA) solutions.
Improve access attestation and certification processes.
Automate user provisioning, deprovisioning, and lifecycle management.
Analyze and resolve complex authentication, integration, and automation issues.
Collaborate with IT Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to enhance access governance policies .
Ensure compliance with InfoSec security standards and financial industry regulations .
Required Qualifications
5-7 years of hands-on experience engineering IAM solutions in SailPoint (IIQ) .
Experience with Identity Lifecycle Management, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Access Certification .
2 years of experience in banking or financial services is required.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, OKTA, CyberArk, and authentication technologies (2FA / MFA, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) .
Automation and scripting expertise using PowerShell, Python, Java, and SQL .
Exposure to cloud IAM solutions on AWS and / or Azure .
Experience integrating SailPoint with LDAP, Active Directory, ServiceNow, and cloud-based applications .
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, GPEN, or equivalent are a plus.
