Job Title : Internal Auditor III (Remote)
Location : Remote (U.S. East & West Coast)
Duration : 9 months (Potential for Extension)
Hourly Rate : $70 / hr to $75 / hr depending on experience level
Job Description :
We are seeking a Internal Auditor III for a critical assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in risk and control auditing, internal controls, and data analytics, with a preference for candidates from Big 4 firms. As a contingent worker, you will collaborate closely with internal audit professionals to perform essential audit tasks and ensure compliance with established audit frameworks.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform day-to-day audit-related activities .
Leverage internal audit methodology and frameworks to conduct audits effectively.
Complete defined audit testing steps.
Select and test samples based on established sampling methodology to assess the operating effectiveness of controls.
Document audit testing results using provided templates and formats (work papers).
Collaborate with cross-functional internal auditors to ensure alignment on audit work.
Assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls, identifying any design gaps.
Assist with scheduling and coordination of audit-related meetings with internal audit professionals.
Conduct relevant research to support the audit process.
Candidate Requirements :
Must-Have Skills :
Risk and control auditing experience.
Internal audit controls experience.
Strong data analytics and experience working with data sources.
Experience in legal risk compliance and consumer protection auditing.
Background in IT control auditing.
Internal operational testing background.
Experience : 3 years of experience in risk and control auditing, with a preference for candidates from Big 4 firms.
Education : Any degree. Certifications in auditing or internal controls are a plus.
Pay Details : $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
