Junior Accountant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an accountant / junior accountant for a growing client in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor degree along with 2 years of relevant experience. This position is 100% in office and is temp to hire. Pay for this role will range between $52K and $57K annually.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
Maintain and update accounting records and files
Process invoices, payments, and receipts
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports
Prepare and submit tax filings and compliance documents
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits
Collaborate with project managers to track project costs and budgets
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations
Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or business is highly preferred.
At least 2 years of accounting experience
Basic understanding of job costing and project accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
