Junior Accountant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a junior accountant for a growing client in the Lebanon, OH area. Ideal candidates will have string Microsoft Excel skills, ERP experience, and some exposure to AP and GL accounting. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $23 and $26 per hour.
Responsibilities :
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor files and manage vendor relationships.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger by posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Prepare and analyze account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
