Entry Legal Assistant
Glendale, WI
LHH is currently assisting an award-willing law firm to find a dedicated a Direct Hire Legal Assistant to join their Glendale, WI Office. This role involves supporting an attorney and being an integral part of our administrative law team. Compensation: $17-$23 an hour based on experience Great Benefits
Responsibilities:
· Communicating with clients via phone, email, mail, fax, and text regularly.
· Interacting with the SSA, including hearing offices and Judges through calls, filings, and faxes.
· Entering data and documenting case actions.
· Applying legal concepts to assist attorneys in achieving favorable results for clients.
· Tracking case deadlines and milestones.
· Helping client’s complete forms.
· Obtaining evidence such as medical records and work history.
Skills and Qualifications:
· 3 years’ experience in a law firm office is preferred.
· Highly organized with attention to detail.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
· Able to prioritize multiple tasks with deadlines.
· Proficient in spelling, grammar, and proofreading.
· Maintain professionalism and client confidentiality.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.
· Adaptable, efficient, flexible, independent, and patient.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
