The Paid Social Media Director is responsible for managing the customer acquisition strategy via Paid Social Media platforms. This person will bring their expertise in digital advertising to the team and leverage it as a player / coach to increase awareness and household penetration to deliver against aggressive growth goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Be a brand guardian, partnering with agencies and other Marketing and cross-functional colleagues to ensure representation of the brand and related messaging is consistent and on strategy.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the brand’s long-term growth strategy, ensuring flawless execution of consumer-driven initiatives.
Build the comprehensive Paid Social Media strategy and adjust as appropriate to accommodate the unique needs of different platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, YouTube).
Leverage key consumer insights, brand guidelines, and the overarching Big Idea (creative idea) in the development of paid social media assets.
Research, source, and manage creative assets for paid social media marketing campaigns; be able to develop and / or edit some assets on your own.
Be prepared to grow a team; identify the core competencies and resources needed to support a high-performance paid marketing capability managing a multimillion-dollar annual budget.
Execute campaigns end-to-end, including but not limited to campaign ideation, budget allocation, creative development, campaign builds, ongoing management / monitoring, goal pacing, optimization, analysis, and reporting.
Lead agency relationships as necessary to develop the cadre of paid social assets needed to achieve strategic goals.
Launch A / B and multivariate tests across creative (hooks, CTAs, RTBs), audience (re)targeting, bidding, and landing pages.
Collaborate with the DTC team to ensure landing pages are developed in conjunction with paid social media campaigns to allow for a continuation of the consumer journey from awareness to consideration to conversion.
Develop analytic dashboards to monitor campaign performance across KPIs (e.g., CPA, ROI, ROAS, CPM) daily, weekly, and monthly; report out strategic findings to senior leadership monthly.
If needed, build a quantitative, results-based case to lobby for incremental funding above and beyond the significant increase in Marketing funds already authorized.
Manage projects within budget and forecast spend for future periods.
Manage, inspire, and guide the development of direct reports.

Education and / or Experience :
BA / BS in Marketing, Communications, Business, Statistics, or a related degree preferred.
6 years of breakthrough, high impact, paid social media campaigns (CPG and DTC brands preferred); experience may come from working at an agency or managing media in-house.
Proven track record of driving measurable, effective results with hands-on experience in Facebook Ads Manager.
Must be able to develop the strategy and have “hands on keyboard” in terms of building and optimizing campaigns.
Understanding of social media optimization.
Working knowledge of digital conversion rate optimization methods such as A / B and multivariate testing.
Experience leveraging Meta analytics and platforms like Triple Whale to evaluate site-analytics and user behavior.
Comfortable with Excel (Pivot Tables, vlookups, formula creation).
High analytical and data interpretation skills.
Working knowledge of HTML, a plus.
Experience leading creative agencies and / or creative development platforms to generate a high volume of content for rapid testing and iteration.
Proven track record of people leadership and development of direct reports.
Pay Details : $120,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
