LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for a Loan Operations Associate, for a potential contract-to-hire opportunity, working a hybrid schedule, for a company in the Westend of Richmond, VA.
Duties include reviewing loan documents (wholesale, consumer and mortgage loans) and translate documents into loan system codes for accounting / finance department. This role collaborates with the finance and accounting teams, focusing on data and document review, supporting financial reporting, reviewing loan originiations.
- Loan Maintenance, code corrections and / or changes, reversals and reapplication of payments, year-end regulatory tax reporting, and quality control. (Transaction Processing)
- Review and report applicable loans within Regulations for CRA and HMDA (Regulatory Team)
- Partner with accounting in the balancing of loan general ledgers accounts daily / monthly; provide support in researching of out-of-balance situations. (Balancing and Verification)
- Provide pay off requests / verifications and research credit bureau disputes (Research Request)
- Assist in performing Quarterly Audits within the department (Regulatory)
- Input and / or upload, verify and maintain loans on the Loan / Mortgage System.(Balancing and Verification)
- SBA Reporting / remittance
Ideal candidate will have 3 years of operations experience in a bank or financial institution, proficient with Microsoft Office, strong customer service skills, able to multi-task and attention to detail with reviewing large documents.
Contract Pay : $25 to $30 an hour
Schedule : hybrid with 3 days a week in office and 2 days remote
