Job Title : Medical Biller
Hours : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Location : Wayne, NJ (100% onsite)
Type : Contract to start ASAP!!!
Responsibilities :
- Handle medical billing and claims processes, including payment organization, addressing denied claims, and performing follow-ups.
- Communicate with patients regarding their accounts and respond to insurance company inquiries.
- Dispute and appeal denied claims after processing.
- Review and interpret Insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for appeals and patient statement inquiries.
- Follow up on previously submitted disputes and appeals.
- Perform detailed and accurate insurance verifications for patients seeking treatment.
- Document insurance benefits, co-payments, deductibles, and self-pay portions to facilitate collections.
- Identify and record patient account details based on insurance types, including PPO, HMO, Medicare Advantage, Managed Care, Government plans, or Workers' Compensation policies.
