Office Assistant / Receptionist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an Office Assistant / Receptionist with 2 years of similar experience for a full-time role with a legal firm, located in Poughkeepsie, New York. This is an excellent direct hire role that will require you to be working on site.
Responsibilities :
- Organize and manage legal documentation, including case files, pleadings, contracts, and correspondence, ensuring timely and precise filing in New York, New Jersey, and federal courts.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, hearings, and court dates, ensuring attorneys are promptly reminded of upcoming deadlines and appearances.
- Provide essential administrative support, such as writing correspondence, answering phone calls, and managing emails, while directing inquiries to the appropriate contacts.
- Oversee daily office functions, including managing office supplies and equipment, and collaborating with headquarters to facilitate necessary orders.
- Effectively manage attorneys’ calendars, appointments, and meetings.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations as required.
