W2 Temporary Contract Oil & Gas Title Attorney

Full-time or Part-time Work Available

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-known Am Law 100 firm in search of a few contract title attorneys to work on a project starting immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for licensed attorneys with oil and gas title review experience in OH, PA, and/or WV. The W2 temporary contractor role offers a remote work arrangement and a full—or part-time schedule. This is a long-term project without a projected end date.

 

Responsibilities:

• Draft comprehensive and accurate title opinions for oil, gas, and mineral titles.

• Conduct thorough research on title and land records.

• Perform due diligence, leaseholds, mineral reports, and quality control.

• Assist with diverse legal projects across various practice areas.

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

• Produce well-written, clear, concise, and error-free documents.

• Manage assigned tasks independently, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness.

 

Qualifications:

• Two or more years of experience with oil/gas title abstract review and the ability to examine abstracts of titles, leases, contracts, and related legal documents are required.

• 2 years of experience drafting oil, gas, and mineral title opinions.

• 2 years of curative title experience.

• Actively licensed and in good standing to practice law in the state in which you live. (PA, OH, or WV required.)

• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects effectively while maintaining focus and accuracy.

• Proficiency in legal research databases and title software.

• Passion for learning and staying ahead in the oil & gas legal landscape.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Pay Rate: $35.00 - $40.00 DOE

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
