Operations Coordinator- Kansas City Metro Area
LHH is partnering with a client in the Transportation industry to fill their Operations Coordinator role in the Kansas City metro area. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our company. You will be responsible for coordinating various operational tasks, managing logistics, and supporting different departments to achieve their objectives.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and manage daily operational activities, including shipment information, order creation, and shipment activation.
· Build and assign loads, schedule appointments, and track and trace shipments.
· Monitor task boards and respond to customer and carrier requests promptly.
· Document events and follow defined escalation procedures when necessary.
· Validate and ensure the accuracy of load data in systems according to company standards.
· Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
· Provide administrative support, including invoicing, data entry, and maintaining records.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or similar environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
· Strong communication, prioritization, and time management skills.
· Attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.

Job Details:
Job Title: Operations Coordinator
Location: Kansas City Metro Area
Compensation: $50-55,000 annually
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, fully onsite
Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, STD/LTD
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
