LHH seeks a Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) Patient Coordinator in Scottsdale, AZ.

Responsibilities :

  • Answer telephone inquiries and manage patient appointment scheduling (initial and return).
  • Perform insurance verification, create new patient charts, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Provide administrative support for closing patient visits, including insurance authorization, financial counseling, payment processing, and daily document research on electronic health / medical record systems.
  • Review charge information to ensure accuracy according to payer requirements; make corrections as needed.
  • Address claim edits, rejections, denials, and perform voids and corrections as necessary.
  • Submit clean and accurate claims, ensuring completeness of patient chart required elements.
  • Coordinate with the collection team to maintain the database, resolving accounts receivable.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of office administrative experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Spanish Speaking

    Preferred Qualifications and Experiences

  • At least 1 year of experience with EMR / electronic health / medical record systems (preferably NextGen and / or OnBase).
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and other medical insurance regulations, terminology, and coding / billing / reimbursement protocols.
  • Onsite in Scottsdale, AZ

    Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

    Pay Details : $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
