LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated and professional Patient Services Representative to join our client's team in Worcester, MA. This contract role is integral to ensuring a seamless patient experience and efficient clinical operations and will start immediately!
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist visitors and patients for scheduled and urgent care appointments.
Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
Collect co-payments and obtain necessary consent signatures for treatment and billing.
Assess patient needs and refer them to appropriate services such as financial counseling, interpreter services, and social services.
Manage incoming phone calls, connect patients to providers, and take messages as needed.
Schedule appointments and coordinate treatment plans with multiple providers and departments.
Ensure patients receive necessary pre-procedure information and collaborate with insurers for prior authorizations.
Maintain accurate records, logs, and files, and assist with billing discrepancies and prescription renewals.
Perform various administrative and clerical duties, including data entry, mail distribution, and report preparation.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Proficiency in specialized applications software and computer systems.
Ability to work under stressful situations and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication and human relations skills.
Knowledge of business office procedures and medical terminology is a plus.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
