LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring an experienced Payroll Supervisor for our client in Walnut Creek, CA. This full-time position offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
The Payroll Supervisor will lead a small team of payroll accountants and will be responsible for managing multi-state payroll, GL entries and account reconciliation, preparing reports, quarterly tax filings and ensuring compliance. This role requires at least 7 years of experience. This would be a good fit for an experienced applicant with ADP Vantage and GL experience.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and supervise team of two payroll accountants
· Oversee payroll processing for multi-state partner and staff payroll
· Assist with quarterly multi-state tax filings
· Review and approve invoices
· Prepare GL journal entries and GL account reconciliation
· Generate payroll reports and analysis
· Manage payroll projects
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and best practices
· Identify and help implement improvements to procedures
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree
· Certified Payroll Professional
· Minimum 7 years of experience
· ADP Vantage experience required
· GL experience preferred
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
