Job Title : Procurement Analyst / Buyer
Location : Chicago
Job Description : LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Procurement Analyst / Buyer for one of our top clients. This role is crucial for managing and enhancing our procurement activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities :
Analyze procurement data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
Oversee inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess stock.
Develop and implement procurement strategies.
Monitor and control budgets.
Manage procurement contracts.
Ensure compliance with laws and policies.
Maintain supplier relationships.
Generate procurement reports.
Collaborate with other departments.
Create purchase orders.
Process invoices.
Communicate with vendors to confirm delivery schedules and address quality issues.
Perform inventory reconciliation monthly and annually.
Maintain supplier information databases.
Qualifications :
At least 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail.
Effective time management skills.
Ability to proactively identify challenges and maximize productivity
Bilingual preferred
Pay Details : $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
