Position Overview :
LHH is seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to lead and optimize our procurement processes, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. This role involves managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and coordinating purchasing activities across departments to support operational requirements. The Strategic Procurement Manager will be responsible for supplier selection, qualification, onboarding, and development to ensure smooth transitions to production volumes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, negotiate with, and develop suppliers to provide materials, services, and equipment that meet quality standards, delivery timelines, and cost targets.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with category managers for specialized procurement needs.
- Lead procurement projects and provide status updates as needed.
- Explore innovative manufacturing solutions when traditional methods are insufficient.
- Manage vendor setup and maintain accurate records in ERP systems such as SAP.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure production targets and quality metrics are achieved.
- Oversee the transition of materials to the operational procurement team once production stability is reached.
- Ensure alignment with global procurement standards and performance metrics.
Qualifications :

Pay Details : $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
