LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Procurement Specialist V to join our clients reality labs management team. The role involves providing specialized end-to-end procurement support for the Foundry R&D team. This includes handling materials, services, and capital equipment, some of which may be unique, custom, or prototypes. The position requires working closely with researchers to define requirements, engaging with potential suppliers, obtaining and assessing quotes, leading negotiations, and managing the contracting and purchasing processes. The role also involves resolving procurement-related issues and representing the company’s commercial interests to suppliers.
Location: 100% Remote – Must be able to travel to the Redmond WA office several times a year
Compensation: Market Based (Median Salary $92,566.00 per year)

Responsibilities:
- Generate documents defining requirements, specifications, or scope by collaborating with researchers, subject matter experts, and existing documents.
- Procure required goods and services using established vendors or alternative sources when necessary.
- Identify, screen, qualify, and develop potential suppliers through competition and strong negotiating skills.
- Generate, distribute, and manage requests for information (RFI) or requests for quotes (RFQ).
- Gather, review, and manage supplier responses to determine the best pricing and value.
- Make substitution recommendations to realize savings in cost, quantity, quality, or delivery.
- Meet with vendor representatives to resolve shipping, backorder, and overstock issues.
- Develop and qualify new sources to obtain the best price and delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date files of vendor catalogs and price schedules.
Desired Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years of equipment sourcing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, science, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Expert negotiating and customer-service skills.
- High degree of integrity.
- Ability to analyze and resolve a variety of issues simultaneously.
- Ability to interact well and gain cooperation from internal division staff and customers.
- Ability to write up customer orders involving detailed product requirements.
- Proficiency in working efficiently in a MS Windows-based environment and 10-key by touch.
- Interact with talented cross-functional teams working on state-of-the-art AR and VR products.
- Support exciting AR/VR device launches for social good through CapEx equipment sourcing.
- Deep understanding of equipment sourcing and equipment life cycle management.
- Expertise in contracting and negotiations.
- Knowledge of the CapEx equipment supplier landscape and relationship management.
- Familiarity with semiconductor equipment and processes.
- Strong partnering and influencing skills.
- Effective communication skills.
Key Performance Metrics:
- On-time deal closure.
- Driving optimal CapEx efficiency vs. schedule risk trade-off.
- On-time delivery of supplier deliverables.
- Equipment performance.
Pay Details: $55.00 to $80.00 per hour
