Purchasing Administrative Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing company in Central Phoenix. This organization is in search of a purchasing administrative assistant. This job is Monday-Friday 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm, fully in office. 

In this role, you will support the purchasing department by assisting with the procurement of materials, managing supplier communications, and ensuring timely order processing. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the purchasing and procurement of materials and supplies needed for production.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, shipments, and inventory levels.
  • Communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotes, track orders, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely processing of purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
  • Organize and maintain purchasing files and documentation for easy access and reference.
  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., production, inventory) to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Assist with the development and management of vendor relationships.
  • Support the purchasing team in preparing reports and data analysis.
  • Handle any administrative tasks associated with the purchasing process as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous administrative experience, ideally in a manufacturing or purchasing environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
