Schedule: 5x8; 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Do you enjoy resolving billing issues and working with patients? LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Financial Coordinator for a 3 month contract role with the possibility to extend in Baltimore, MD. This role involves managing daily billing activities, ensuring smooth workflow, and acting as a liaison between the billing office, physicians, and third-party payers.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily revenue cycle activities and collaborate with internal teams.
Provide financial counseling to patients and verify benefit coverage.
Communicate patient financial responsibility and initiate payment plans.
Resolve billing issues and perform patient registration and scheduling.
Supervise and assign work, optimize charge entry, and ensure compliance with billing policies.
Participate in special projects and committee meetings.
Track referrals, maintain coding standards, and stay updated with changes in coding and insurance reimbursement.
Build strong relationships with patients, families, co-workers, and the community.
Adhere to infection control and safety policies, ensuring HIPAA standards are enforced.
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
1-3 years of relevant experience
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance
Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
