Job Title : Revenue Cycle Representative
Location : Indianapolis, Indiana (Must be near a facility for occasional in-person events)
Pay Rate : $16.00 / hr
Job Type : 3 - 6 month contract with potential for temp-to-hire
About the Role :
We are seeking a motivated individual with office experience who possesses the right attitude and aptitude for success. While healthcare experience is preferred, it is not required. If you’re eager to learn and grow within the field, this is a great opportunity for you to get your foot in the door, especially if you are looking for a career in billing and coding.
Responsibilities :
Follow up on and build insurance claims, particularly for Medicare (Traditional Medicare experience preferred)
Review claims to ensure they have been paid
If claims are unpaid and there is no request from Medicare, check the claim online
Initially, you will not work on denials but will eventually move into working denials
Learn billing processes and follow-up procedures.
Skills Required :
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Qualifications :
1-2 years of office experience (billing and coding experience a plus, but not required)
Open to candidates looking for entry-level opportunities to get into healthcare administration
Work Hours & Flexibility :
Training schedule : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM EST
Post-training, work hours are flexible between 6 : 30 AM – 9 : 00 PM EST (must complete 8-hour shifts, can finish as early as 3 : 00 PM EST)
Interview Process :
Virtual interview (one round, but a second round may be required if necessary).
