A well-established organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Controller to oversee accounting operations, budgeting, and financial reporting. This role involves managing administrative accounting tasks, consolidating accounting functions, improving financial reporting, and automating processes. The position offers substantial growth opportunities and requires a dynamic, hands-on approach.
Responsibilities :
Oversee day-to-day accounting tasks, including updating books, journal entries, AP & AR processes, and maintaining accurate, organized records across QuickBooks and Sage Intacct.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; create annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
Consolidate accounting functions across various systems and entities, automating processes where possible to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
Produce ad hoc analysis and profitability reporting.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
5 years of accounting experience (preferably with operational businesses).
Restaurant or Entertainment industry experience is a plus.
Capable of managing end-to-end accounting processes, from bank account setups to tax returns and operational financials.
Experience and knowledge of QuickBooks and Sage Intacct accounting software.
