Location : Tigard, OR
Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Senior Buyer with a background in the medical equipment manufacturing industry. You will manage the procurement of materials and services, ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute procurement strategies.
- Identify and negotiate with suppliers.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct market research and maintain supplier relationships.
- Manage inventory levels and records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory and budget adherence.
- Lead daily purchasing meetings and address issues.
- Work on cost reduction, inventory reduction, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the Engineering Change Orders (ECO) process.
- Mentor and support lower-level buyers.
- Issue purchase orders and resolve delivery issues.
- Resolve purchase price variances (PPV) and supplier issues.
- Support other buyers and recommend planning parameters.
- Back up the Supply Chain Manager as needed.
Qualifications :
Pay Details : $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
