Location : Remote with up to 50% travel

Salary : $105k-$125k

Our client, a leading lighting organization in the industry, is seeking a Specification Sales Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will manage all technical sales activities within this market segment. If you have strong relationships with Engineering Firms' “Mission Critical” teams and a desire to excel in sales, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities :
Create and implement strategic sales plans aimed at consulting engineering firms within the Data Center vertical.
Establish and nurture strong relationships to ensure our products are the preferred choice.
Achieve or surpass annual sales targets through proactive engagement and relationship management.
Exhibit technical product expertise and effectively convey the value proposition.
Stay informed about competitor products, market trends, and industry innovations.
Work closely with internal teams, including project quotations, engineering, and customer service, to provide accurate quotes and ensure project success.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to boost visibility and market presence.
Regularly report on competitor activities and industry trends.
Handle administrative tasks such as expense reporting and project tracking.
Use presentation tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and Word to deliver impactful communications.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical work experience.
At least five (5) years of experience in the lighting industry.
Minimum of three (3) years in technical sales or specification sales roles.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support trade shows, client meetings, and other work-related activities.
