Staff Accountant- Kansas City Metro Area
LHH is partnering with a client in the Kansas City Metro area who is seeking a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. This role will be responsible for preparing financial statements, processing journal entries, updating accounts receivable, assisting with balance sheets, and performing bank reconciliations. Our ideal candidate would have at least 3 years of experience.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare financial statements and reporting.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure transactions are recorded.
- Update accounts receivable and assist with invoicing.
- Assist with processing balance sheets.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Review P&L variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
- Ensure compliance with audit / review requirements and resolve any discrepancies.

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, fully onsite
