LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Stock Loan Analyst for a contract role with a Fortune 500 banking client that will provide quality hands-on experience.
Job Description :
This is an annual recurring seasonal temporary role requiring strong Excel knowledge, experience with data analysis, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The stock loan analyst plays an integral role in supporting institutional trade desks by providing operational support, including borrow / lending comparison, trade matching, collateralization, and break research. The role involves providing settlement status to clients intra-day for equity and bond trades and coordinating with internal counterparts to confirm settlement status for all current day transactions.
Responsibilities :
Processing mark to markets, returns, and new borrows
Moving collateral to and from agent lenders / banks
Providing status of all trades for clients currently unaffirmed by contra party
Providing detailed status of all failing trades and conducting research on reclaims, erroneous trade bookings, and settlements
Internal reconciliation and fail research of all broker-to-broker transactions
Following up with clients / contra brokers directly to resolve aged fails
Requirements :
Trade support and / or global markets, financial services experience
Expert Excel knowledge
High level of attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Willingness to continuously learn on the job
Problem-solving skills and ownership of process improvements
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with various stakeholders
