What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Analyst/Accountant position at LHH Recruitment Solutions?
LHH has partnered with a reputable and growing services company in search for a Tax Analyst/Accountant. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and like to think critically this could be your calling! The role involves aspects of Accounting, Compliance, Corporate Finance, and specifically Tax. In order to support the day-to-day operations, this Tax Analyst/Accountant will own and participate in a variety of work-streams, tax documentation, tax withholding, and tax reporting. You will also help with additional reporting and process improvements.
Responsibilities of this hybrid Tax Analyst/Accountant include:
Prepare and file tax returns for multiple companies.
Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax reporting obligations.
Prepare and review tax returns for different types of taxes, such as income tax, sales tax, and use tax.
Conduct tax research and analysis to identify potential tax issues.
Respond to tax notices and inquiries from tax authorities.
Provide tax advice to upper management.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree
5 years’ experience with tax, compliance, and accounting.
Experienced with Microsoft Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
Knowledge of Tax software, such as Avalara, highly preferred.
Prior exposure to Great Plains is also nice to have.
Self-starter with good interpersonal and organizational skills.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
