Human Resources Generalist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dynamic and bilingual Human Resources Generalist to join our client’s team in Nebraska City, NE. This pivotal role involves administering HR policies across multiple functional areas, analyzing HR data, and delivering actionable recommendations to management. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish, have strong technical skills, and excel at interpersonal communication. Temp to Hire - Opportunity for role extension or transition to full-time based on performance and business needs. 1st Shift with required overlap of 2nd shift for at least two days per week.

Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience)

Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Policy Administration: Administer and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures across diverse functional areas.
Data Management: Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends, recommend changes, and support business decisions.
Employee Support: Act as the point of contact for employee inquiries about referrals, direct deposits, and updates regarding citizenship.
Employee Relations: Participate in investigations and actively support training and development initiatives to foster a positive workplace environment.
Administrative Duties:
Assist in processing paperwork related to medical leaves, workers' compensation, pay adjustments, and labor moves.
Compile reports and track essential HR metrics.
Orientation and Culture: Facilitate orientation processes and contribute to engagement activities, including involvement in the Ind committee.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes and implement strategies to boost morale and site culture.
Shift Flexibility: Provide additional support during second and night shifts as needed to maintain HR operations across all teams.
Qualifications & Required Skills
Education: A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 0-2 years of experience in HR or related areas; ideal for entry-level HR professionals looking to grow their careers.
Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is mandatory to assist a diverse workforce effectively.
Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to navigate and utilize various HR systems for reporting and data analysis.
Interpersonal Strengths: Excellent customer service skills to address employee concerns empathetically and professionally.
Analytical Ability: Strong capability to collect, interpret, and act upon HR-related data insights.
Administrative Skills: Experience managing labor moves, pay adjustments, and accurately processing HR-related documentation.
Investigative Skills: Familiarity with conducting investigations and assisting in training and employee development programs.
Flexibility: Willingness to work across shifts and adjust to changing operational needs.
Problem-Solving Skills: Adept at handling complex issues like medical leave, workers' compensation, and employee relations challenges.
