Job Title: Vendor Sourcing Specialist

Job Type: Temporary for approximately 3 months

Location: Arlington, VA (hybrid)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Vendor Sourcing Specialist to join our clients team on an temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire Request for Proposal (RFP) process, from creation to vendor selection, and building strong relationships with vendors. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze procurement data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• RFP Management: Create, write, and format RFPs using our digital management system.

• Vendor Selection: Identify and preselect vendors to invite to participate in the RFP process.

• Relationship Building: Manage and nurture relationships with vendors, addressing their questions and proposals.

• Vendor Evaluation: Score and evaluate vendors, conducting regular performance assessments.

• Data Analysis: Collect and interpret procurement data, including cost analysis reporting.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in vendor sourcing or procurement.

• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in using digital management systems for RFPs.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
