What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant - Accounts Receivable position at LHH?
LHH is currently recruiting an Accountant with strong accounts receivable and billing experience along with general accounting experience for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our clients in Houston, TX.
Job duties include:
- Assist with month-end close processing including preparation of monthly journal entries.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
- Assist with accounting receivable and billing including invoicing and analysis.
- Review and approve credit card expenses through Concur.
- Assist with inventory, fixed assets and accounts payable as needed.
Qualifications include:
- 2 years of accounts receivable, billing and general accounting experience, including month-end close experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Must have ERP system experience and strong Excel skill.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
