What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Consultant position at LHH?
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking two Accounting Consultants to support our client – a private equity owned healthcare company. These roles are critical in supporting the accounting functions and aligning ERP systems, organizing the chart of accounts, and maintaining the general ledger and financial statement preparation. Key Responsibilities:
- ERP System Alignment: Assist in the integration of all entities onto a unified ERP platform.
- Chart of Accounts Organization: Ensure the alignment and organization of the chart of accounts across all entities.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring they reflect the company's financial position accurately.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external consultants to ensure seamless integration and alignment of accounting practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, in the healthcare sector and with private equity-owned companies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Compensation:
$85-$100/hr
