LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker Lynch) is working with an insurance related firm looking for an Accounting Manager. This is a small firm with an accounting team of two experiencing great growth. A history of small company GL accounting work and reinsurance. Highly hybrid WFH company.
Responsibilities:
- Month/Year End
- Full cycle Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Potential supervision of 1 staff
- GL Maintenance
- Financial Statements
- Journal Entries
- Reconciliations
- Financial Reporting
- Understanding of recurring revenue recognition and future reserve claims/losses
- Ensure GAAP compliance
- Assist with tax filing with CPA firm
Requirements:
- Bachelors in accounting
- 4 years GL accounting experience, preferably in insurance/captive/reinsurance
- CPA preferred
